Tid

Your time, made visible.

Tid keeps a quiet record of the places you spend your day and how you get between them. It is coming to iPhone.

The Today screen in Tid: the day drawn as a 24-hour ring, with the places visited listed below.
Today. The whole day as one ring, from midnight to midnight.

It runs on its own. Tid notices when you arrive somewhere and when you leave, and tells visits apart from travel. It also knows how you travelled: on foot, running, by bike, by car, by boat or by plane. There is nothing to start or stop.

Your places. You add home and work when you first open the app. For the other places you visit, Tid suggests a name and a category on its own.

Day by day. History lets you browse back through earlier days: where you were, for how long, and how far you went.

The History screen in Tid: hours tracked, time away, places visited and a timeline for one day.
History. Time away, places visited and time on the go, for any day.

Patterns over time. Stats look across your days and weeks: how long your commute takes, where you most often go after work, how many times you have been to the shop this week, and how far you have driven in total. Car trips add up to a simple driving log.

Privacy by default. Everything is processed on your iPhone. The only thing that leaves it is a lookup to Apple Maps for the name and category of a place you visit. There is no account, and no way to sign in. iCloud sync is optional, and off until you turn it on.

Free. The core of Tid is free, always. If you love it, there is a way to support us.
