About

Vicling is an independent software studio building privacy-first apps for everyday life. Our apps are designed to be calm, useful, and personal — tools that respect both your attention and your data.

Our apps. Tid is the first. The next ones will be made to the same three commitments: calm by design, privacy by default, and pay if you love it.

Our colours. They come from Vikingetidens farvepalet, a 2018 study in which the National Museum of Denmark analysed pigments from the Viking Age, 900–1100 CE. Each app is given one of them. Tid’s is kobbergrønn, copper green, from malachite found on Viking buildings.
